We are building one place to host all your team's knowledge work.

Software development has had this place for decades. All of the code for a specific project is hosted in one place enabling large numbers of developers to seamlessly collaborate across one or more projects at any given time. Every developer pushes their code to the same host and it helps resolve conflicts as they arise. This has made it easy to introduce agents into the coding workflow, since they share the same context.

But as the scope of agents advances beyond coding and software becomes even more integral to more areas of the business, project context becomes fragmented making collaboration difficult and inefficient. Today knowledge work is hosted in many places, docs, spreadsheets, code repos, slides, chats, etc, without a central organizing principle. This leads to a phenomenon where two agents can have different understandings of the same project. This makes collaboration difficult and leads to inefficient AI spending. Agents learn different things, or the same thing more than once.

And even if one were to use existing hosting platforms like GitHub for all knowledge work, the tools are not fit for purpose. They are built to host software in an era where developers wrote the code. Now always-on agents don't just write orders of magnitude more code but they are performing other functions too. This is stressing the scalability of these platforms and the usefulness of their features. Humans need new tools to perform new roles. Existing tools are square pegs in round holes.

read write labs is building a central repository for all of your team's knowledge work. When all of a project's context lives in one place, every person and every agent has the same information. Learnings happen once and they compound over time. When two agents change the same thing, the platform helps resolve conflicts. Context is not locked to a single harness or a single AI provider. Your team can use whatever agent harness suits them best. Ones better suited for particular tasks or ones with remaining budget for the week. Whatever the harness the work is always written to the same place.

Knowledge work is fragmented. Agents work in silos. Bring your work together. Get more done.
